Sneering Failing Empire (Kestrel HQ)

[Hayate]

Hayate enters the massive high guild's headquarters and takes in his surroundings.

Unlike its former self, the new Kestrel was not as barren as it used to be. A lion-motif fountain decorated its square, and there were evem traces of growing grass.

In the far back, Hayate sees a faint figure sitting atop a throne. Swallowing the lump in his throat, Hayate starts walking forward...

[The Hackfather]

A woman could be seen sitting on the stone throne of the grand hall. Her entire torso was wrapped in bandages instead of normal clothing, giving her a unique appearance. A large katana rest against the side of the throne in arm's reach of the woman. She looked bored...when Hayate approached, her eyes shifted toward him.

[Hayate]

A little after the woman on the throne comes into view, Hayate stops walking and simply looks at her. She had an atmosphere that practically screamed 'guildmaster'. With a stern yet cautious look on his face, Hayate calls out to the woman. "You're the guildmaster of Kestrel, Kylia, right?"

[Dekar]

*Kaga warps in with a sigh he had been trying to decide if he wanted to join Kestal because it followed his beliefs or Moon Tree because as a spell caster it's bonuses were better for him. But in the end he decided to go with what he should join*

"So you're Kylia, huh?" He asks he sees Hayate and suddenly jumps back a fireball appearing in his hand, apparently he hadn't forgotten about Sugar Mansion.

[The Hackfather]

In a blink, after Kaga's disruption, Kylia appears between the two and glares at them. She flicks her hand in both ways, sending Hayate and Kaga flying into the walls.

"Yes, I am Kylia, and you will not show such disrespect in my chamber"

[Dekar]

*Kaga was suprised by so suddenly being over powered, but he soon recovers his calm and bows respectfully to Kylia*

"I apologize deeply, I was merely suprised by Hayate's presence here." He answers in a respectful manner.

[The Hackfather]

"So I am to assume that the both of you want entry into my halls..." Kylia says turning and walking back toward her seat at a normal pace.

[Dekar]

"Yes, I'd like to join the guild." Kaga responds he wasn't sure how much he liked this guild master but she was definately strong, and she deserved respect

[The Hackfather]

"As you know our charter is that we perfect our talents of war and our influence in the economies of both finance and information in this world. We are honor bound by what we say and do and do nothing to bring these hallowed halls shame. Once, our guild was a slum, and now it has become something worthy of existence." Kylia says as she turns and looks at the two.

"Now...I want to see just what you two are capable of...fight each other...and do not hold back. Show me the ferocity you would use for our name and prove your worthiness" Kylia says sternly as she takes her seat.

[Dekar]

*Kaga cracks his neck*

"Well I didn't expect to have to fight to join a guild but meh. So Hayate you using factor powers or are we playing it even?" He asks

[Neon]

Neon and Chibi Usa walk in "Are we interprupting on something. If not we would like to join your guild" said Chibi Usa as she was rideing Helios into the main area. While Neon looked at Hayate and Kaga.

[The Hackfather]

Kylia, irritated at the insolence picks up her Katana menacingly for a moment. Veteran Kestrel members dive for cover, knowing that is a sign of Kylia wanting to use Ra-Zantetsuken on them. Regardless, she holds back for now.

"...Perhaps you are...however get that quadruped out of my hall..." she says glaring at Chibi Usa.

[Neon]

Chibi Usa dismisses her pet "So me and my brother are going to have to wait for some type of quilification from you" she asked while Neon leaned on a near by wall and watches Hayate and Kaga go at it.

"hhhhhhmmm both of them are skilled fighters but. Kaga would win this. Although Hayate is known to pull something out of no where. They are equal in that sense its up to fate to declair the winner on this fight" said Neon as he waited for the fight to begin on this.

[The Hackfather]

"You two...hmm..." Kylia says a devious smile on her face. She had one of those ideas going through her head.

"...Very well, since the first two are being slow in starting their match, I now change the rules. I want to see a two versus two match. The siblings that just arrived and the first two...last duo standing will win" Kylia says sitting there with a devious smile on her face.

Meanwhile, other Kestrel members talk amongst themselves waiting to see the match..

"She must have a real interest in them to ask them to do this...normally its a lot simpler."

[Dekar]

*Kaga draws his newly awakened .hack///arm and smirks*

"I'm up for that, what about you Hayate?" He asks

[Neon]

"Sis take out that SaGa OST and lets do this from the top" said Neon as he turned off the background music ingame and starts to play something in his headphones and draws his twin blades.

Chibi Usa gives a nod and pulls out her Dual Guns. They did a warm up excersise and started to move in syncronised movements.

[Dekar]

*Kaga activates his mind absorber on Usa replicating one of her spells onto his weapon. He then begins to mummble under the music*

Light and Dark, Dawn and Dusk
Opposing forces meld as one and yeild to my command
Elements of creation cast judgment upon my enemies
Wash over Hope and Dispair,
Kindness and hatred, and bath all in your destructive light.
Vanquish!

*Kaga deciding to test out his new weapon and not wanting to let this chance go by casts Vanquish on the twins.*

[Neon]

Both Chibi Usa and Neon saw the spell coming at them. "Prismatic Phantasmic/Data Wall" said the twins as the damage they took was cut in half. But some of the Vanquish spell was bounced back at Kaga due to Neon's Rengeki.

"So Kaga you can not be creative and you have to resort to copying stuff. Thats not honorable take this" said Neon as he came at Kaga at a very fast pace and was going to use Fire Dance on him.

Chibi Usa at the same time rains down bullets from above to keep Kaga down.

[Hayate]

"Heh..." Hearing Kylia's new rules, Hayate stands next to Kaga and draws his twin blade swords. "Alright! Should be fun!"

[The Hackfather]

"Does he do anything other than talk?" Kylia says dejectedly in response to Hayate. "He should join Moon Tree or something with that attitude"

[Dekar]

*Kaga defends and himself from the spell and while he does take some damage though less than the two of them. Seeing Neon charge towards him he smirks he jumps back to evade the attack but does get hit by a few stray bullets.*

"Elemental fusion Fist of Water, Fist of Fire" He slams his right fist into his left palm and a steam smoke screen hides him from the two "He projects his voice from multiple directions "I wouldn't be talking if I were you Neon, after all mirage slicer, data wall, and Vanquish aren't original techniques of yours either." Kaga replies "Not that I'm not used to you being a hypocrite."

[Neon]

"Touche Kaga.....Sis you know what to do" said Neon as he does a very high backflip to get out of the smokescreen. Chibi Usa extents her wings and starts to flap them rapidly to clear the steam. Chibi was still armed with her Dual Guns. She had a wicked idea she makes Mirage clones of her self to find Kaga and smoke him out from his hideing place.

Neon then switchs targets to Hayate. He comes at him with a unmatched speed. Once he got into range he unleashes a Fire Dance right on Hayate.

[Hayate]

Hayate fends off most of Neon's blows with his blade swords, but does take a bit of damage due to Neon's remarkable speed. As Hayate is thrown back, his feet drag along the ground, creating a small cloud of dust. "Heh... Not bad, Neon! Now it's my turn!" Hayate counters Neon's speed with a speed of his own. He vanishes into thin air and reappears above Neon with crossed blade swords, plunging down onto the Twin Blade with his signature Sonic Fang Rengeki.

[Neon]

Neon looks up at Hayate "Impressive" he said and does a backflip to avoid most of the hit. But he still took damage from the Sonic Fang rengeki. Once Hayate was on the ground,Neon from his crouching postion then lunges forward in a Tiger Stance and unleashes another Fire Dance on Hayate.

[The Hackfather]

Kylia meanwhile watched the fighting going back and forth, her eyes darting around her head like it were a tennis match going back and forth.

[Dekar]

"Vulcan rf" Kaga casts using the voice trick he had done earlier to remain hidden

[The Hackfather]

"Okay this officially bores me...all four of you are inducted in...now go play" Kylia says dismissing the group.

[Dekar]

*Kaga walks over and bows politely but then looks at Kylia*

"Ummm, Lady Kylia, if Neux and Moon Tree end up battling each other, even if Kestral doesn't get involved is it okay if I support Moon Tree?" Kaga asks

[The Hackfather]

"Only until Kestrel is involved, in that event, your loyalty is to Kestrel" Kylia says sternly.

[Neon]

Neon and Chibi Usa bow "We thank you very much Kylia-Sama" said the twins and start to walk out from Kestral.
