Before FFTA
Marche at the age of 12 suffer from abusive father who blame his brother sickness on him and Marche's mother. So Marche's mother finally stood up to him after getting tried of the mistreatment, which ended up in a divorce. Inwhich the mother along with Doned and Marche moved to the town of St. Ivalice. Marche wished her things to go back the way it was, but soon realized that dreaming for a better world does nothing.
After FFTA
After leaving from the world of the book, Marche and friends life become better. Marche's silently felt sorry fro his brother Doned who was still in a wheel chair, but a year later Doned discovered had something to do.
Entering the World
Doned introduced Marche to "The World". Doned let Marche into his party and soon the two became co-leaders of the Ultima Knights. Half a year later the guild became famous. Another month later Doned fell into a coma.
Meeting with Haseo
Marche played with the world, barely leaving to eat. He didn't know
why but he just played. He didn't believe that the game did this to Doned, and that he went into a coma because of his sickness, but because of Marche constant playing, he ended up losing his girlfriend Ritz (which he cover up his sorrow by trying to act like a knight in shiny armor for some random girls) and his friend Mewt, but while going to a random area, he join with Ovan just before having to face Ryoko for the first time.
Finding a Reason to Fight
After helping confront a few times. Marche decided to help everyone until the end. Soon after Marche fought Ryzen along with Dekar, Ovan and Haseo. Afther this fight he gainned Blackrose's Sword. He had no idea why he had recieved his gift. Than Marche and a few of his friends (Dekar and Haseo) recieved a message of challege which ended coming from Doned, Marche's comatose brother. He attacked Marche, who was unable to fight back, but was fought off by Dekar.
Marche explained what happened to his brother, and how it felt it was his fault. Dekar grew a brotherly bond with Marche.
Meeting Freya
Marche found himself in a iceland area infront of a myterious hostipal. Dekar soon came to help his explore. He meet a child AI who lead him to the lab downstairs. There the two fought Doned and his design for an avatar. Doned anger that them, kicked them out. He was able to find out the child's name. It was Freya.
Dusk's End
Marche had help in the fight against Kalonis, where he was able to discover that Freya had a adult/teen form, but the peace didn't last long. He went to relax on the beach with his friends Dekar, Blackrose, Arutus, Ryoko and Freya. There he found a red head, which he follow, only to be ambushed by Alkaid, who had gotten ADIA from Lawliet.
