Jack: I guess you already found another partner for this war. We may really have to fight each other.
*He says in a voice low enough so only he could hear it. Then he looks up at the two walking away*
Jack: Watch my friends back Aylia, if he dies I'll holding you accountable, and vice-versa of course. Not enough true beauties out there nowadays.

Kawaru: Hey Aylia shouldn't I take you back to your house?
Aylia: No I had them drop everything off at yours.

Lancer: Of course not a single one of you will leave here, alive at least.

*Aylia swallows hard*
Aylia: I can feel mana radiating from him. That's unreal I'm not sure either Archer or Saber can match him.

Aylia: Saber fight him but be careful I don’t think he’s going to be a push over.
Saber: I know Aylia.
*The air is thick. Lancer looks around. His eyes fix on Archer*
Lancer: So you’re servant Archer huh? It’s a shame that a beauty such as yourself will die here. I know how about this after this battle you can serve Usa. Then I won’t have to kill you. It’ll be perfect.
*An arrow of light is fired directly at him but when rather than piercing him it seems to vanish when it hits his body. The attack failed but the message was clear*
Saber: Archer don’t both you’ll need to fire a much stronger arrow to piece the barrier from the Twilight Amulet. Isn’t that right Ryzen?
Lancer: I didn’t expect anyone to be able to identify me based on my defense alone.
Aylia: R…R…Ryzen! You mean the Azure Lightning?! That Ryzen?!
Saber: That is correct.
*Sweat begins to form on Aylia’s brow, and Kawaru moves so that he can defend her if she’s attacked*
Aylia: We have to Run in all of Myth Ryzen is one of the greatest fighters. We’ll be lucky to get out of here alive. Let alone defeat him. She wasn’t joking she really did summon the strongest servant.
Kawaru: Running won’t do us any good right now.
*He takes out two construct guns and readies himself*
Kawaru: Saber you seem to know a lot about him, can you think of anything that would give us some kind of edge.
Saber: Ryzen is renown for being pretty much unbeatable. The few times he ever suffers defeat were due to outside influences.
Lancer: Well now we’ve got this out of the way I suppose I will kill you now.
*Lancer takes off like a rocket and hurdles towards Archer, but she was ready and quickly jumps to the side and fires a massive energy arrow. However, Lancer raises and hand and crushes the blue energy. Smoke was rising from his gauntlet and a twisted smile appears on his face*
Lancer: So this is servant Archer’s power huh? Well I supposes it really is at quite a high level how about joining my master and I? We’ll be the ones to win the war anyways.
Archer: No, I refuse to join you besides you won’t be the winners so it doesn’t matter.
Lancer: What did you say!?
*Archer’s response seemed to have riled up Lancer but he quickly calms down again*
Lancer: You’ve got a sharp tongue but you’ll soon see things my way. After all if you submit in the beginning where’s the fun? I love the thrill of the chase.
*Ryzen grins savagely then turns and uses his lance to block a strike from Saber*
Lancer: You look familiar have we met before?
Saber: Perhaps.
Lancer: Well no matter.
*Lancer begins a flurry of thrusts towards Saber who parries, dodges and blocks each one. His skills seemed to be on an entirely different level than when he had fought Archer. It seemed as if there was more than one lance and while Saber was evading every thrust he was losing ground being forced to back away*
Lancer: It seems I didn’t give you enough credit there are some servants worth fighting in this war. That makes being summoned all worthwhile.
*Suddenly Saber’s eyes glint as and he dashes forwards evading many of the thrusts he knocks one of them down then steps on the spear and uses it to catapult towards Lancer*
Lancer: Not good enough!
*Suddenly Lancer sinks the tip of the spear into the ground and uses it as a base for a lightning fast jump kick. The kick was unexpected and hits Saber square in the stomach sending him skidding across the ground. However, even before he stopped skidding Saber was back on his feet ready to defend himself*
Serena: Lancer this is taking to long and I promised to visit him at the hospital tonight finish this fight.
*Lancer spits showing his dissatisfaction with the order*
Lancer: Fine.
*Suddenly he lunges towards Aylia but Kawaru is already there he fires his magic pistol, but the bullets seem to have no effect then he raises the pistol in his other hand which resembled an old style flint lock revolver. He fires it and a huge mana bullet is produced upon impacting Lancer his charge is not only stopped but he was blown several feet away landing gracefully on his feet*
Lancer: Oh, so you’ve got some useful toys as well. For a bullet to pierce the barrier of my twilight amulet that’s impressive, but I’m afraid that this ends here.
*Lancer takes raises his spear preparing to use his Noble Phantasm*
: Attack Berserker!
*Suddenly a huge servant, which seemed to be a cross between a wolf and a person rams into Lancer. Jack jumps down from a building and the impact from his landing causes another crater*
Jack: Berserker don’t let him use his noble phantasm invoke temporary madness!
*Suddenly the hulking wolf-man servant glows red and in speed comparable to Lancer himself charges at Lancer*
Lancer: Bad doggy!
*Electricity surrounds his gauntlet and when Berserker tries to bite him he slams it on the shoulder, causing it to stagger he then jumps behind it and attempts to pierce it through the heart but the lance only sinks in about an inch and a half. The monster roars and Lancer jumps away*
Lancer: This is getting troublesome.
Saber: HRUNTING!
*Suddenly there is as black flash and a destructive black wave on mana is released from Saber’s sword. Lancer focuses mana into the twilight amulet in order to produce a shield strong enough to defend himself and his master but doing so takes a great deal of effort*
Serena: Lancer we’re running late lets get going. We’ll deal with these roaches another time.
Lancer: And it was just getting good too. Oh well, at least now I remember who you are Saber. I didn’t recognize you without your black wings.
*Saber merely glares at Lancer with a stern look on his face as they leave*
Aylia: Saber what are you doing attack!
Saber: Why we were given a gift, I can’t fight at the level necessary to defeat Lancer with the amount of mana I have and we still need to worry about Berserker.
*Alyia grits her teeth, then suddenly Kawaru falls to one knee*
Archer: I thought so.
Aylia: What?
Archer: Those mana bullets are preloaded he needs to create them, and since he had already use up more than half of his mana supply creating the crystal screen and repairing the Oracle Knife he’s running low on mana.
Kawaru: Sorry to slow you guys down.
*Aylia looks at him concerned for a moment then returns to her normal demenor. Jack walks over*
Jack: Kawaru are you ok?
Kawaru: Jack? Heh I can’t believe you’re a master too.
Jack: Yeah but more importantly this will be the last time I help you.
Kawaru: Huh?
Jack: You’ve already started working with Aylia and its not a good idea for three magus’s to work together. The next time we meet during the war we’ll be enemies. Though don’t get me wrong.
*Jack turns around with a goofy grin on his face*
Jack: You’re still my buddy and I won’t try anything underhanded. When we fight it’ll be a battle between men.
*Aylia is surprised by Jacks sudden change in attitude*
Aylia: Is it possible that…

Aylia: You’re not a total loser?
*Jack falls on him head anime style*

*The three of them laugh*
Jack: Anyways you two should go back to Kawaru’s house it’s dangerous to stay here.

*Mean while Lancer’s master enters the local hospital*
Nurse: Oh Miss Serena, he’s still awake in his room you may go ahead and visit him.
Serena: Thank you very much, how’s his condition.
Nurse: He’s stable but it doesn’t look good.
Serena: How long does he have?
Nurse: His doctor estimates about a month.
*Serena’s expression is sad but hopeful. She thanks the nurse and goes up to the second floor and enters a room. In the room is a pale white haired bay who seems to be very sickly. He smiles when he sees Serena enter*
Shiro: Hi Sis.
Serena: How are you feeling?
Shiro: I’m fine the doctors have said I’m doing well. I’ll definitely recover.
*Tears begin to swell up in Serena’s eyes and she hugs her brother*
Serena: Listen Shiro just hold on for a little longer. I’ll win this war and use the Holy Grail to cure your illness.
*Shiro smiles weakly*
Shiro: Please Serena you need to live so please don’t lose you’re life. Promise me?
Serena: I promise.
*Serena talks with Shiro for a little while then leaves. When she’s outside his room a man with long green hair approaches her*
: So it seems you confronted other masters. Did you win?
Serena: No, circumstances forced us to retreat and more importantly I needed to check on Shiro.
: Child if you win this war the power to cure his illness will be yours. The Grail will bring you happiness.
Serena: I know that’s why I’m going to crush any master who gets in my way. Sakaki, thank you for giving me this opportunity. I won’t disappoint you.
Sakaki: I know you won’t child.
*Serena leaves a man in red and black attire appears behind Sakaki*
: What do you intend to do if she doesn’t win?
Sakaki: My dear Kanolis it doesn’t matter either way. We are merely here to make sure that the war happens and that it progresses smoothly.
Kalonis: Right.

*Kawaru and Aylia return to the house and Kawaru lays sits down*
Kawaru: That was unreal. I never thought Ryzen would be one of the servants.

*Then Kawaru turns to Saber*

Kawaru: You two seemed to have met before and it’s clear based on his reaction that even in that fight you weren’t using everything you had. Anyways Hrunting in myth is the sword of Black Angel Dekar. So I’m guessing that’s who you are.
Saber: That’s correct. I am Dekar.
Kawaru: Now it makes sense, in myth Dekar and Ryzen fought several times and a winner was never decided because the fights were always interrupted. Though it’s popular belief Ryzen was stronger.
Saber: At full strength we were about an even match unfortunately my full strength requires a great deal of mana and I had no intention of using all of it unless I absolutely had to.
Kawaru: That’s fine, give me a sec.
*Kawaru goes into the basement while he’s there he grabs a cylinder shaped crystal, but his attention in drawn to a project he had been working on for a long time in the corner*
Kawaru: It couldn’t be.
*Kawaru goes back upstairs and hands the cylinder to Aylia*
Aylia: What is this?
Kawaru: It’s a mana crystal you can store excess mana in it then use it to channel that mana to a new project. I used to use it when I took time of from constructs but unfortunately it doesn’t seem like I’ll be having much excess mana.
*Aylia accepts the cylinder*
Aylia: Thank you.
Kawaru: With that you can store up mana so that in the future you can use Saber’s full strength.
*Aylia nods then looks at the cylinder*
Kawaru: Okay so we now know that Lancer is probably the strongest servant we’re going to run into.
Aylia: Berserker also seemed very powerful, but it didn’t seem well armored I wonder why Lancer’s spear didn’t effectively pierce it.
Archer: An iron curtain spell.
Kawaru: That would make sense, since Berserker is already so muscular and iron curtain spell would give it excellent protection, but I don’t think Berserkers can cast spells was it Jack?
Aylia: It must have been you saw the crater he made when he jumped off the building normal people don’t just get up from an impact like that he was probably using the steel skin spell with a reinforcement spell on his bones.
Kawaru: I never thought Jack would be capable of magic, let alone such a complicated combination of spells.
Aylia: It’s true he certainly does play the part of the fool well.
Kawaru: So there are only two masters yet to be discovered. Though I don’t know which servant he has that Kazuto kids also a master.
Aylia: Yeah.
*Suddenly a low rumbling is heard*
Aylia: Is it another master?
Kawaru: I don’t think so.
*Kawaru points at Saber who’s stomach proceeds to rumble again*
Saber: I guess I’m a little hungry I haven’t eaten since breakfast.

Aylia: Sorry Saber it’s just that the serious mood we had going was totally ruined.
Saber: Well I’m sorry but I can’t exactly control it forever. Using my noble phantasm and battling Lancer used up a lot of calories.
Kawaru: Relax, don’t take everything so seriously.
*Saber looks away in embarrassment and Archer gets up*
Archer: I’ll make something why don’t the two of you go rest.
*Aylia and Kawaru nod then get up and leave the room*
Saber: You’re an odd servant Archer.

Saber: You’re familiar with modern day appliances, you weren’t even phased when faced with Ryzen, and you’re bow is odd.
Archer: Well you’re right that I’m not normal for a servant but don’t misunderstand I am technically a servant.
Saber: I see, and why are you looking for the Holy Grain.
*Saber’s eyes lock onto Archer and she lowers her head slightly then he grins*

*Kawaru and Aylia were sitting out of the porch*

Aylia: Why are you looking for the Holy Grail?
Kawaru: I’m doing it to repay the people that raised me. When the war is over I’m going to go off on my own and join the magic association. I want to be able to help educate others in constructs, and I want to find a way to prevent the decline of magus while still allowing them to fall in love with whoever they want to. What about you?
Aylia: I was told that the Holy Grail is dangerous and must be destroyed my only reason for being in this war is to destroy the grail.
Kawaru: After that what are you going to do?
Aylia: I don’t know I’ll become a normal girl. I won’t worry about the perseverance magus. Eventually I’ll settle down and then I’ll live out my life.
*Kawaru smiles then looks out at the stars*
Kawaru: Sounds like a good plan. How about this? If I win and discover that the Grail really is dangerous I’ll destroy it as well.
Aylia: I would hope so. I didn’t take you as a person foolish enough to actually give away something you thought was dangerous.

*At this Aylia blushes slightly and turns away*

Kawaru: Now it makes sense, in myth Dekar and Ryzen fought several times and a winner was never decided because the fights were always interrupted. Though it’s popular belief Ryzen was stronger.
Saber: At full strength we were about an even match unfortunately my full strength requires a great deal of mana and I had no intention of using all of it unless I absolutely had to.
Kawaru: That’s fine, give me a sec.
*Kawaru goes into the basement while he’s there he grabs a cylinder shaped crystal, but his attention in drawn to a project he had been working on for a long time in the corner*
Kawaru: It couldn’t be.
*Kawaru goes back upstairs and hands the cylinder to Aylia*
Aylia: What is this?
Kawaru: It’s a mana crystal you can store excess mana in it then use it to channel that mana to a new project. I used to use it when I took time of from constructs but unfortunately it doesn’t seem like I’ll be having much excess mana.
*Aylia accepts the cylinder*
Aylia: Thank you.
Kawaru: With that you can store up mana so that in the future you can use Saber’s full strength.
*Aylia nods then looks at the cylinder*
Kawaru: Okay so we now know that Lancer is probably the strongest servant we’re going to run into.
Aylia: Berserker also seemed very powerful, but it didn’t seem well armored I wonder why Lancer’s spear didn’t effectively pierce it.
Archer: An iron curtain spell.
Kawaru: That would make sense, since Berserker is already so muscular and iron curtain spell would give it excellent protection, but I don’t think Berserkers can cast spells was it Jack?
Aylia: It must have been you saw the crater he made when he jumped off the building normal people don’t just get up from an impact like that he was probably using the steel skin spell with a reinforcement spell on his bones.
Kawaru: I never thought Jack would be capable of magic, let alone such a complicated combination of spells.
Aylia: It’s true he certainly does play the part of the fool well.
Kawaru: So there are only two masters yet to be discovered. Though I don’t know which servant he has that Kazuto kids also a master.
Aylia: Yeah.
*Suddenly a low rumbling is heard*
Aylia: Is it another master?
Kawaru: I don’t think so.
*Kawaru points at Saber who’s stomach proceeds to rumble again*
Saber: I guess I’m a little hungry I haven’t eaten since breakfast.
*Suddenly Kawaru and Aylia burst out into laughter*
Saber: Hey!
Aylia: Sorry Saber it’s just that the serious mood we had going was totally ruined.
Saber: Well I’m sorry but I can’t exactly control it forever. Using my noble phantasm and battling Lancer used up a lot of calories.
Kawaru: Relax, don’t take everything so seriously.
*Saber looks away in embarrassment and Archer gets up*
Archer: I’ll make something why don’t the two of you go rest.
*Aylia and Kawaru nod then get up and leave the room*
Saber: You’re an odd servant Archer.
Archer: Why do you say that?
Saber: You’re familiar with modern day appliances, you weren’t even phased when faced with Ryzen, and you’re bow is odd.
Archer: Well you’re right that I’m not normal for a servant but don’t misunderstand I am technically a servant.
Saber: I see, and why are you looking for the Holy Grain.
*Saber’s eyes lock onto Archer and she lowers her head slightly then he grins*
Saber: I see you don…
*Kawaru and Aylia were sitting out of the porch*
Aylia: Kawaru can I ask you something?
Kawaru: What is it?
Aylia: Why are you looking for the Holy Grail?
Kawaru: I’m doing it to repay the people that raised me. When the war is over I’m going to go off on my own and join the magic association. I want to be able to help educate others in constructs, and I want to find a way to prevent the decline of magus while still allowing them to fall in love with whoever they want to. What about you?
Aylia: I was told that the Holy Grail is dangerous and must be destroyed my only reason for being in this war is to destroy the grail.
Kawaru: After that what are you going to do?
Aylia: I don’t know I’ll become a normal girl. I won’t worry about the perseverance magus. Eventually I’ll settle down and then I’ll live out my life.
*Kawaru smiles then looks out at the stars*
Kawaru: Sounds like a good plan. How about this? If I win and discover that the Grail really is dangerous I’ll destroy it as well.
Aylia: I would hope so. I didn’t take you as a person foolish enough to actually give away something you thought was dangerous.
Kawaru: Awww come on I was trying to sound cool.
Aylia: Then you need to work on your timing.
Kawaru: Yes master.
*At this Aylia blushes slightly and turns away*
Aylia: You’re not a servant so don’t call me master. It gives the wrong impression.
Kawaru: I think this is the first time I’ve seen you seriously embarrassed.
Aylia: Are you making fun of me?
Kawaru: No, you look cute.
Aylia: Are you trying to hit on me?
Kawaru: Never.
Aylia: Well you’re pretty lousy at it.
Kawaru: Would you rather it be Jack?
Aylia: Hard to say you’re both losers.
Kawaru: Alright, I get the picture. I’m gonna go to bed.
*Kawaru walks off in a light-hearted manner*
Kawaru: One thing don’t worry about Ryzen too much. We’ll think of something. Trust me.
*Alyia smiles and looks back at the sky*
Aylia: Thanks for trying to cheer me up but you’re the one who seems to be the most worried of all of us.
*Kawaru gets into bed*
Kawaru: There are still so many things I don’t get, but one things for sure I’m going to win this war no matter what.
