Taira Ishida took off the worn-out headset he wore to play "The World, a famous online game that has billions of players from around the world. He smiled, though a bit heartbroken. The rockstar-slash-hacker just celebrated Aina's birthday and has just logged off. Taira was tired and worn-out from the long hours of playing, he moved lazily towards the messy bed across from the computer. He dropped dead onto the old mattress and began to snore. The next morning, he awoke from a large crash just outside his window. It was the construction workers outside of his apartment. Taira scowled, he didn't want to be awake just yet. He looked over at the clock and noticed it was 8:43 A.M. The tired musician scowled again but was awake enough to make some breakfast. The dirty kitchen held enough to make three strips of bacons and two cooked eggs. He quickly ate it and he knew it was time. Time to record his new song. Something to keep his thoughts away from his recent heartbreak.
Taira wore a brown jacket with the sleeves rolled up, a black shirt underneath it. Also he wore tight jeans which was the only clean thing in his drawer, and wore his glasses because he was too much in a rush to find his contacts. He ran out of his apartment, nearly forgetting to lock it. Taira hopped into his car, a red convertible. His music label gave him for his birthday, but he never got a chance to use it since he always ride with his teammates in the white van they used before they became famous. As he sped his towards the highway, he took out his cellphone and called the co-founder of the band and lead bassist, Ryuusuke Shima. Taira waited for three seconds before Ryuusuke picked it up. "Hey Ray! It's me Taira. Just coming my way, will be there in a few hours or so. I got this new song in my head. I sang it to this girl online and she loved it. I bet you'll love it too." Taira's young and smooth voice rolled out into the phone.
"Really!?! That's great! Our record label said that they need a #1 song or else they might boot us. Like they'll never will." Ray's cocky and ethusiastic voice rang out.
Taira smiled, the same Ray as always. "Right I'm on my way. Try to cover up for me while I'm gone kay?"
"WHAT!?! Are you crazy! It's your vocals and guitar which makes the band whole! Without you! We would have all broken up already." Ray said exasperately over the phone, so loud that it made Taira's ears ring.
"Alright alright. Get a grip. I just had a bad encounter with a women. Heartbreaking you get it? Hehe. Just wait okay?" Taira reassured him.
"Fine fine fine! But it's your fault if we don't make top charts this month." Ray said, Taira chuckling through the other line before Ray hanged up.
Taira has been driving for two hours. Around him was nothing but a wasteland of dirt and a few patches of grass. Taira looked up ahead to find a young girl in front of a car on the side of the road. Then Taira, being all kind, pulled over to help them. He got out of the convertible and looked curiously at the pulled-over car. The little girl looked up at Taira and then proceeded to go to the front of the car yelling, "Daddy! Daddy! Someone's here." Taira smiled sincerely, surely now he could help out the poor family.
A rough-looking, middle-aged man appeared from the car. He had a grey bear and was bald, his eyes were nearly emotionless and in his hands was a gun. Taira looked in surprised at the gun. "Leon Sykes?" He mumbled, the man merely nodded. Taira knew he had made an enemy to Leon Sykes. He stared at the gun, feeling a cold bead of sweat comming down from his forehead. "No...Aina...sorry..." Taira coarsed voice said, unable to say anything else. The man looked coldly at Taira, breathing hard and sweating as well.
Bang!
"Yesterday afternoon, officials have located the body of Taira Ishida. The leading vocalist and guitarist for the band, Dying Breed which used to be called Black Heaven before it became famous. Officials found two gunwounds in the chest and neck, he appeared to have died on the spot. The suspect's name is disclosed but he was captured after the shooting as highway patrol passed by the scene. His reason he said was that he had been just fired from his job, and that he was robbing cars to pay for his daughter to go see a dentist. Many mourns for the death of Taira Ishida, whose sensational music nearly changed the world. The band's bassist declared that the band would be broken up."

"Without Taira, the whole band will fall apart. He was the singer and guitarist. Without him, we're nothing.
