A piercing brisk wind chills straight to the bone. The gust whisks away the leaves of brown, red, and gold. Shivering, I grip onto the warmth I have left, surprised. Surprised by the heat from your tight hold.
Sighing, I relax into your embrace, flying. Flying away into our own world of vibrant hues, Where all that matters is your arms around me, Something I will never be able to refuse.
But what about you? I sense myself falling. Did you release me forever? Or was it just a slip? Yet still, no answer, as I continue towards earth. But relief pushes back the fear, feeling your grip.
I look into your eyes as they wordlessly apologize. My pulse quickens, fleeing back to our world once more. Your warmth permeates my whole body as my eyes close. And I drift back to where I was from before.
My body awakens and I no longer feel your arms. I start to wonder, was it all but a fleeting dream? Looking around, I see no one and the cold returns. Frowning, I think that the world is never what it seems.

Thanks, DW. =D My poem writing depends on a lot of things. Usually I get inspired a little by certain scenes in books or the such, though i try not to get too influenced by it. Much of the inspiration comes from my own feelings though and as you can tell from the majority of my poems here, I tend to feel a longing for love and the such.
