You have turned me away,
But it doesn’t really matter,
Because I am okay,
For joy and sorrow, I control
And I have now, the latter.
It doesn’t hurt, not at all,
And though I’m sad,
I can’t, will not fall,
As it’s nothing that big,
And nothing that bad.
I do wish you felt the same,
But we can’t have everything,
There’s nobody to blame,
Not you, even though,
You’re not the one crying.
Eventually, I will get over it,
Slowly, the sorrow will be gone,
And I am rescued from the pit,
Able to see a new opportunity,
In this coming and beautiful dawn.
