The writer and the artist,
Both have the skills to control-
Pen, pencil, and paper.
One and the same,
Yet different in many ways.
Two halves of a whole,
One cannot be without the other.
One puts words in the mind and pictures on paper,
While the other does just the opposite
I am the writer, gifted with storytelling.
And you, dear friend, you are the artist,
Gifted with making a beautiful image,
Just like yourself.
