Calypso

[The Hackfather]

A storm of data rests in a dense cave area...where the deity of Calypso, slowly being eaten away, waits for her challengers...darkly destroying anyone who enters her cave with a dense beam of power from her Reality Obliterator data.

[Hayate]

Near the very edge of the corridor, Haseo looks out into the light to see Calypso, taking extra care to make sure he isn't seen. Holding his hand out behind him, Haseo conjures a single lightweight sword from subspace, proceeding to toss it into the light.

Almost as soon as light reflects off the blade's surface, the sword is battered by rays of darkness that reduce it to base data.

"Tch!" Haseo bares a sneer, brainstorming ideas to sneak past Calypso's defenses.

[Neon]

Neon gates in and sees the overweilming defense that Calypso had. The only thing that he could do would be firing shots at the slowly degenerating AI. Although the main pathway from what he could see. Were alcoves that could be ducked into if Calypso fired a massive beam down that way. Going to take a chance Neon charges up his most powerful rifle and then fires a Flash of Green from the barrel. Down the pathway hopefuly dealing some kind of damage.

Neon's attack would meet with futility...as a counter-blast absorbs and nullifies it and in return, a beam narrowly misses anything Neon had exposed from his own attack.

Ayliori walks forward and looks...glowing teal from channeling Innis and focusing her gaze upon the corridor where Calypso was standing. She turns her attention to the mirages that would begin appearing...and in a 180 degree turn, turns to shoot at the multiplying mirages...leaving an opening for the two men to attack.

[Hayate]

'There!' Seeing the opening Ayliori provided, Haseo draws his dual pistols, leaps into the fray, and begins barraging Calypso's back with an endless stream of bullets of black fire. Immediately after running out of ammo, he returns his firearms to subspace and slams his palms on the ground, causing twin rows of blades to barrel across the ground in Calypso's direction.

[Neon]

Neon seeing the opening he desides to go in for melee. As he goes running in and whips out a double sided axe. He swings it a few times as he goes in. Darting left and right and then jumps high up and then brings his axe down. He spins several times into the air adding more force to the blow. The axe blade then comes down on Calypso intending for a nasty cleave on her right shoulder.

All attacks land for critical damage. Calypso howls in pain and turns around...releasing a static field that would paralyze both Neon and Haseo. She leaps away and aims her arm at the two...a violent amount of energy accumulating, showin that her power would erase the very minds of the two whom had just harmed her so.

Meanwhile Ayliori begins to cast Rip Lei to remove the ailment...and the spell glyph begins to fly in their direction...while Calypso fires her blast...would the spell make it in time?

[Hayate]

As Haseo stares down both Ayliori's curative spell and Calypso's blast of energy, his stress level begins to climb. Which would reach him first?, he wondered. Unable to move even a polygon, he shuts his eyes tight. "!!!"

A tremendous but condensed explosion conceals Haseo's position. As the dust settles...

...Haseo is nowhere to be seen.

Only nanoseconds later, a rift pops open at Calypso's back, and Haseo, having taking residual damage from her blast, slashes harshly at her rear with a broadsword.

[Neon]

Neon was shocked but with Ayliori's spell he was able to narrowly doge the beam attack. He has a look of murder and then desides to throw his sycthe. It turned into a spining blade of death on Calypso. He then goes in with his byaonet a more of a combat style weapon to use more of the blade then a gun. But it was able to shoot bullets. Closing the gap "Renzukoken" he called out and went into a flurry of 8 bladed strikes. And then swings up "And now Rough Divide" he said attepmting to deal a heavy blow on the AI.

Calypso punches Neon with her weapon arm..which would probably transfer a heavy amount of sensation to Shiro in reality...and turns around, her weapon charging as she moved...and aims at the nearby Haseo...prepared to extinguish his life from him. The sweat of the heat would make his PC perspirate...he could almost kiss Shino goodbye...

...when her arms would be restrained by metal coils appearing from above. Above them, the Ardent Goddess herself, Ryoko had arrived...using her class's innate ability to ensnare the crazed AI. "...Just die already...I have to kick your leader in the face for harming my babies...and trying to kill my friend" she growls...but Calypso being no dumb monster, begins to corrupt the data, which would likely cause the coils to break very soon.





Ayliori occupies herself using a Repth spell on Neon...as the blue light engulfs the male PC's body, at least raising the HP paramater.

[Neon]

Neon felt the blow in real life as that knocked the air out of him. Getting back up again and accualy rethinks his attack stratagy,while Ayliori healed him. Calypso was just massively countering there attacks. Although with Ryoko holding the arm down. Neon gets out his only weapon that could be data damaging. His lost weapon and then goes in. And attempts to slice off Calypso's weapon arm. He was going to try like hell and get rid of the arm.

[Hayate]

Haseo backs off to catch his breath, having been brought between life and complete dehydration. With Ryoko's entrance, a few more seconds were bought, allowing him opportunity to focus. He slams his hands on the ground and attempts to open a massive-sized rift. Addressing Neon, Ayliori, and Ryoko via Private Chat, he warns:

In about 15 seconds...you guys are gonna want to jump...

Ryoko able to fly just hovers...holding the grip for as long as possible. Ayliori meanwhile uses a floating Rengeki to become able to levitate...but lacked the ability to give Neon that benefit as well.

Enraged by the blow Neon made, she grabs his face with the normal arm and thrashes it against the ground several times, until she senses a high energy.

Calypso then feels a threat from Haseo and aims at him...the gun arm charging up and preparing the pew pew Haseo to his kingdom come.

[Neon]

Neon getting thrashed around looks up and then grins evily slightly. As thorned vines shoot out from his coat sleeves and they grip the weapon arm. And try and bring it down and away from Ayliori and Haseo. He used most of his factor powers and strength to make Calypso's aim really off.

As this was going on three spector like images come out of the ground. They burst into blue flame as the true horror for Claypso had come. Three Azure Flame gods finaly materialised. The three of them launched a Tiger Claws strike on the psycho pathic AI. As far in the distance a white and green dressed PC approches them with a teal glow.

Everything about her had changed- or had it? She couldn’t smile anymore; but she also could not remember many a time where she could. She felt cold, empty, and alone- well mostly. She felt something insider her pushing her to take further part in this conflict. Was it guilt? Was it her factor abilities? Was it loyalty toward her allies- friends even? Zero could not determine what was driving her at this point, but knew it was something she had to do. She could only hope she found some sort of catharsis in the actions she took this day.

Zero knew she was late to the fight, and her PC even seemed a bit drained, but she knew there would still be help to offer to her surely beleaguered friends. She summoned a murder of crows which scouted ahead of her, revealing to her the fight between Shiro and company and Calypso. She felt a twinge of sorrow and guilt in her heart as she looked upon Shiro fighting. She had been rather cold toward Shiro lately- did he really deserve it? Perhaps, could they be a couple again after all this was over? Zero pushed the thoughts back in her mind- she needed to focus now.

Zero paused once she reached the battlefield for a brief moment- preparing the precious few buffing techniques she had so that she could hit at full force. Wordlessly, she then launched a few fire-based spells at the AI’s gun arm, but only a seemingly conservative amount compared to the cascade that she’d normally launch.

[Hayate]

With some interference by Neon, Haseo is spared the full brunt of Calypso's gun arm assault. Though her aim was effectively off, several bullets do manage to hit their intended mark, taking a sizable chunk out of Haseo's health bar. In spite of this, he continues to concentrate his energies. His aforementioned 15-second time limit had just about reached its end.

"...Now!!!"

Through Haseo's influence, a large rift about a kilometer in diameter opens up underneath Calypso, through which a great number of bladed weapons focused on her position shoots through to pierce her body in every which way.

The width of Haseo's [Bed of Nails] reached a great distance outward.

The images conjured by Atoli allow lock Calypso in place, fear taking hold. The Harbinger of Death for AI terrifying her. She turns and fires erratically at it, ignoring that Zero's spells would pin her in place long enough for Haseo's large scale attack to erupt and cause incredible HP and Data damage to the rogue AI. Cracks could start to be seen in the data, and she falls to the earth once the rift closes...slowly getting up...radiating a dangerous field of energy.

She looks around scanning her targets, and looks furiously around. The one called Zero was the weakest among those...and she aimed her cannon arm toward her direction...the full powered blow is fired quickly, causing data instability in Calypso's form, but the Warlock would find herself in grave danger as the projectile rockets across the space between the two.

[Neon]

Neon seeing Zero in grave danger drops what he was doing. He runs at a frantic pase and then reaches her. He then throws her out of the way of the incoming attack. And then braces for the attack knowing that this was going to be it for him. But for him Zero's safty was frist by any means nessasary. So he was very calm about doing this and then gets blasted and crashes in to the wall. "I'm.....sorry everyone"he said before going out. As the reality banisher did do a deadly hit to him.

Neon's data starts to fade into the abyss...no power present could do anything about it and to try would probably leave one open as a target for Calypso. Calypso herself in the meantime begins to fire erratically at everyone with the Reality Banisher. Ryoko swoops down picking Ayliori and Zero up knowing that the two epitaph users could take care of themselves...

Calypso prepares to launch a blast at Atoli and Haseo since they were easier to hit than a flying target...charging up for a heavy blast...as she approaches the apex of power...she nearly fires, the heat emitted from the barrel...

"Izanagi Zantetsuken..."

A strong female voice descends from above, as a multi dimensional storm of blade swings appears on top of Calyspo in one fluid movement...striking her twelve times in the time scale of one. The attack wall rushes her away from the group and leaves the AI dazed long enough for others to conduct followup attacks.

"I am here on behalf of my lazy and tied up fiance and children whom I forbade to come to this today." Kylia says, standing up and staring down Calypso, holding her katana over shoulder. It was a new blade that Dekar had specially made for her, around a similar power level to a mid level lost weapon.

"So...yeah...lets just get this over with, I have better things to do today"

[Hayate]

As he watches Neon, the first of Calypso's victims of the day, fall, Haseo takes a moment to honor the fallen warrior before clenching his hands into tight fists. Reddish-orange Epitaph symbols appear on his PC body, and he draws a thin pink beam saber into his left hand. Since his R:2 days, it was indeed a rare moment for Haseo to channel Skeith's power.

Dashing forward, Haseo, along with 7 afterimages of himself, swoop down upon Calypso, piercing her with eight beam sabers from eight different angles. With his assault complete, Haseo's afterimages vanish, and he alone stands a few feet away from the dazed AI, throwing his arm to the side and signaling the eight blades to detonate with explosive space-bending force.

~In the Lala Land of Neon's brain~

Neon would find himself suspended in a void. Around him the world had no stability, no meaning. Static, memories, images, fantasies, dreams, realities, everything he ever thought of could on some level be tangible and interacted with.

Here he would have nowhere else to go, and yet he could make it anything he wanted.

[Neon]

"....Great.......I must be in a digital hell" said Neon as he looks around and sees a vast void. And then sees memories good,the bad,and the unknown. Some were friends that he had met in the game. Or in real life due to some relation of the game. The others were enemies or rivals that he had to take down. He then sees something of a event that he did with a friend. And wanted to go there and it did. The void turned into the location of where he was.

It was the moon event that he and Mikan did a long time ago. Neon blinks at this he thinks over this. It was paradice but then shook his head. "Paradice can get raither dull.......where everything is perfect. Inperfection and chaos can make you feel alive. Even me who is a flawed person knows that this is hell" He then thinks and then looks up to the starlit sky above. And makes a choice "I reject the reality.....I wish to return. There are plenty of people that want to see me again" he said and then thought a bit more.

"Kid...you had to go and get yourself hit by that attack...what an idiot..." the familiar devil in his head states. When Neon turns around, he will see an inverted color scheme of himself staring at him despondently, arms crossed over his chest.

"In spite of everything I did for you, you just couldn't let it be and let that girl deal with the consequences...you threw away your power for what, love? What a foolish thought." he says, spitting at the ground. "All humans, life, AI, and programs exist to multiply, and yet you try to justify it every time you got somewhere toward the truth, you let yourself feel guilty and shameful when reality conflicts with your meaningless ideal" the figure says, walking past Neon and around him in a circle.

"Why?"

Neon hears his darkside and sees the inverted vertion of himself. As Magus desided to show his face and lisens to its triaded about well sex. He lisens to him go on and on and then answers the question. For an AI this would not be an easy answer to give. He takes his time to answer this as it was hard to explain for a being like Magus who was a god to this world. Neon opend his eyes.

"At frist I...felt pleasure something better then the sweetist treat in this world. It was like a drug and like so many adicts. I was hooked but then.....with all addictions it started to hurt others around me. Some now hate and lothe me...and even fear me like a monster" said showing an example with Kazuto's Ex-girlfriend. As after the Magus effect she was down right horrified at what had happend. Then some raither disturbing nightmares from his mind. Showing such abandon just forcing himself on to other women. And Shinobu saying that she was a victim of rape.

"After.....Gwen I realised that I was just running from my problems and just getting into bed with another female. What really hit me that I could not keep doing this. Was Aerynn got pregnat with my child. I could not keep doing this since I had a child...so in a a way that slaped me to reality" he said going on with his thoughts and explanation. As he then brings other visiual aid to Magus. On what he had from his mind and since he did not seem to understand his mind.

"Again.....I was only running from my problems instead of fixing them. Its only fun until someone get hurt....and I've learned that the hard way. Tell me don't you get board having the same level of perfection and no changes Magus? But sooner or later things will get dull,boring,and unfeeling" said Neon again as he brings up another thing from his mind. It was him without anything on and fliping through a revolving door or slide. With diffrant women and him looking bored as there was no excitement. And looked raither unfeeling.

"Tch...that's the point...in spite of everything, in spite of the data that I have given...something has evolved. The Black Box favors the data is has gotten over the impact of such behavior on the human psyche...and you learned to control it. Somehow your behavior caused the system of the Third Child of Morganna to change from it's fundamental core. This is intriguing, yet disturbing." the AI incarnation of Magus says, pacing around uncomfortably.

"...It wants me to absorb your example, rather than manipulate you to follow the original encoding. In a way, you have surpassed even Kuhn himself. I thought your supernatural element would let me grow even more powerful than Corbenik. Your predecessors could only have subliminal urges in game that would be interpreted as their own personality." the AI states, revealing a potential fact of all the phases.

"We do not work for free. We do not allow humans to use our powers for the mere enjoyment of power or some idealistic goal. We follow the original program, gathering ever increasing amounts of data to create the ideal goddess for this world. Aura and Althena both have flaws in their fundamental nature...which is why we still exist. Althena will likely tire of this world, and leave much like her predecessor...thus a new ideal must be created based off all data gathered since the last. While the result of our labor is more powerful and in control of us to an extent, the result cannot be made without us. Ironic." the phase sighs, shaking it's head and pacing around.

"But...to that end. It has been decided that your path, your method is closer to true human nature and belief...which are parts of data that will amplify the next goddess considerably. To that end...you must be preserved until that day. You are about to receive something that no other of your generation is capable of within the Eight Phases. Personification." he states, turning and looking at Neon in the eyes.

"...It is a fusion of the fundamental parts of the phase to your data. The original pieces that create the avatars, the power that your factor draws from. Rather than having a gateway to the power of Magus inside of you, you will have the ROOT embedded into your data. You will be able to use the Avatar of Kuhn, the original form of Magus from R:1, and every single derivative of the factors, along possibly with powers that have yet to even manifest. While Kuhn, Miharu, Shinobu, and others may still use their original abilities, you will surpass all of them combined." the phase says, staring coldly at Neon.

"This is where I would give you the choice, but I think it's obvious what you would choose. It's life or death at this point. Take heed of this immense responsibility for if you abuse it, you shall be devoured from inside out." the phase says, dissolving into a vast volume of raw data and slowly entering Neon's PC body...empowering him to levels that rival that of even Epitaph Knights, X-Mode Kaeion, Full Power Saber, or Unsealed Chibi Usa.

...scarily, with the potential to surpass them all.

[Neon]

Atoli was horrified when Neon when down and died. She did have a place in her heart for the boy. She had orginaly wanted him to be with Aylia but things worked diffrantly. And perhaps for the better but now. He died protecting someone this gallant act and sacrifice. Just made her angry about the same as Haseo and then she turns to the AI. Even though Atoli was a healer it did not mean she was that useless.

Atoli body flares with ephataph symbols and she glows teal colored. Seals surround Calypso and the torso's of Innis pop out and holds its bladed like hands out and it gathers electrcity between its arms and then fires on the AI intending to flay it from the inside out.


Neon slowly digested the words that Magus was saying. And he had a few questions on the matter but that would be best saved for later. He had a job to do about Calypso "I am not going to abuse this power. I have learned that abuse of this power can lead to ruin" he said and then desides to change his appearance to go with this change. A long black coat and pants. A white dress shirt with a black tie. The coat is buttoned and and it goes down to his knees. His shoes were nice and polished and the final touch were a pair of glasses.

Neon also wanted to give himself one more boost to his PC by doing the upgrade to Multiweapon. He then desides to ask Magus something "So each Aura like godess evolves......what happens when this reaches its max form of evolution. Are all of you going to die" he asked while with the ensuing battle. Plants were starting to grow rapidly within the cave at a massive rate. As Magus's presance could be massively felt. As if it was ushering something back.

[Hayate]

Haseo plays the role of spectator as Atoli goes to town on Calypso. In his brief battle reprieve, he takes notices of the flowers sprouting at his feet. Looking to where the greenery was originating from, Haseo discovers a large orb of green light where Neon's PC body had fallen. He could only throw guesses at what was going on within the sphere, but it was clear to him that Neon wasn't out of commission just yet.

What's more, Haseo could swear he felt a familiar presence from his old R:2 days. "...Kuhn...?"

Calypso, realizing she was in mortal danger, kneels down after Atoli's attack which viciously inflicted terrible damage and creates a barrier bubble around herself. She begins to absorb raw data from the field itself, slowly repairing the damage that she had suffered.

Ayliori releases a handful of spells on Calypso, including the infamous Illumina, but not once did the shield choose to budge. Kylia narrows her eyes at this and waits...knowing her blade can't cut through shields very easily...her attacks were best to be used as a direct assault.

Ryoko lands on the ground near Haseo, and tilts her head.

"...This...isn't that good" she muses.






~Lala Land~

The voice of Magus exhales a chuckle at Neon's question.

"That will be impossible. The deities are designed to be as human as possible, and as such will NEVER be perfect.

[Twi]

So much had happened in such a short period of time- Aerynn was not exactly sure what had happened, but she did know that Shiro had just saved her in a big way… and it made her angry. Not at Shiro- but at the AI that had made the attack. She did not care that it was shielded, she did not care that the damage would probably be negligible, she just wanted to crush it. “I feel a firestorm coming on…” She said, as the air around Calypso(or her shield I guess ) suddenly exploded into fire elemental energy. Though it may have appeared as if she were just biding her time, the mage had simply delayed the casting of numerous of her spells- waiting for a weak point to appear.

[Neon]

With a explosive growth massive amounts of vines shoot out. They all start to grow and reshape into torso's of Magus. There were seven in total. The lower parts were just vines and ivy and each one brought there hands up and fired several Flash of Green attacks. All on the AI the shear power and brute force that was unleashed was something of a AI God or Godess. Then as the attack ended another odd thing was happening. Several of the vines gaithered and then formed cocoon of sorts. It was glowing green as data was traveling up these vines. Then they started to slowly pull away and a figure could been seen.

Behind the glasses violet colored eyes could be seen. A faint grin a ghost of a smile was on his face. Then vanished appearing behind Calypso "It seems that I've gained my parents tallent for doging the grim reaper. So tell me Calypso how does it feel to see one of your victims rise from the grave" said Neon as he wispered into her ear. His tone was creapy as hell and gave a slight lick to the AI's ear.

Right before he exploded and a appearing on a chair made out of the vines again. Looking quite relaxed with a broad grin on his face. "I sudjest all of you back away now.....its going to get very messy" he said to the gathered group that was there.

Atoli was very angry and was about to bring down a raijin's wraith down on this AI. But feeling the power and then Neon's voice. Her eyes were going wide at this. As it seemed there was another miracle happening. The blond had heard him way before his grand entrance. But the kid had to start off with a bang. And he did with his own flare. But was kind of angry when he did the licky thing. That was down right creepy as hell.

"I......think we should step back now" said Atoli as this vertion of Neon had the power to boast his claims on the matter. So she knew that he ment buisness right now.
