The World of Stars Ep 1: Stranded
: Rick… Rick… Hey, Rick, wake up!
*The boy pulls the covers over his head in an attempt to drown out the pestering voice and block out the light.*
Rick: Let me sleep, Asuna. It’s break.
Asuna: But Rick, we’re leaving on vacation today.
*Asuna shakes Rick insistently until he’s finally roused from his sleep.*
Rick: Fine, fine, I’m up. Jeez, why do we have to go somewhere every break? What’s wrong with just letting me sleep for once?
*Asuna wasn’t listening, as she was already walking out the door.*
Asuna: Hurry up and get ready. It’s almost time to go.
*Rick rolls out of bed and hits the floor, hard.*
Rick: Ouch… Okay, that was a bad idea.
*Rick looks in the mirror. His blonde hair had been matted at a weird angle. He goes to the bathroom to brush his teeth and comb his hair.*
Rick: Man, why do I have to tag along with Asuna’s family in the first place? Just because we’ve known each other since we were kids, and my parents are always at the lab, it doesn’t mean that I have to go with them every time they go somewhere.
*After he finishes complaining, Rick grabs his bag, puts on a pair of jeans, and a hooded sweatshirt, and walks out the door.*
Asuna: Hey, Rick, come on! Get it in gear or we’ll miss the shuttle!
Rick: Fine, fine.
Asuna: Jeez, you’re going on a vacation with an attractive girl of the same age, can’t you be just a little more excited?
*Asuna groans as the two of them walk over to a nearby transport pad and teleport to the shuttle station.*
Rick: Well, I can’t help it. It’s early morning. And besides, I didn’t ask to go. I’d rather just hang out.
Asuna: You always start picking fights if you’re left alone with a lot of spare time. That’s why I always have to keep an eye on you. Can’t you be more responsible?
*Asuna shrugs her shoulders in exacerbation. Despite Rick’s record of getting in fights, he had a very slim build and a pretty face completely devoid of scars. As the two step on a different transporter to board the ship, Asuna couldn’t help but wonder how he managed to get away from so many fights unscathed.*
Rick: Well, it’s gonna be a pretty long ride, so I’m gonna go sleep in the room.
Asuna: All you do is sleep. Why are you always so tired?
Rick: I’m not tired anymore. There’s just nothing to do.
*Rick opens the door to their room, flops down on the bed, and closes his eyes, soon falling fast asleep. He awakens 7 hours later.*
Rick: Well, that was a good nap. Asuna wan—
*Ricks sentence is stopped short. When he tries to get up, he finds Asuna wrapped around his right side.*
Rick: H…HEY, ASUNA! You rolled around in your sleep again!
*Asuna sits up and rubs her eyes drowsily.*
Rick: Can’t you do something about that habit of yours?
Asuna: I can’t help it.
*Asuna pouts and Rick lets out a sigh, getting up and looking at one of the displays.*
Rick: We’re already dozens of light years away from Earth.
*Rick looks out the window, watching space zoom by.*
Asuna: Times like these make you really appreciate modern technology.
Rick: Yeah.
*The two go out into the hallway to get something to eat, but as they step out of the room, red lights begin to flash and the ship leaves warp drive.*
Rick: What’s going on!?
Attendant: We have come under attack by an unknown force!
*The ship suddenly shakes violently as it is neutralized by what must have been an ion cannon.*
Asuna: What’s going on!? Only a battle cruiser would have an ion cannon like that!
Attendant: I’m afraid I don’t know either! Both of you hurry up and get to the escape pods!
*Asuna and Rick make a dash for the escape pods. They hear phase guns being fired behind them, but don’t even bother to turn around to see what was going on. The moment they reach the escape pods, Rick closes and locks the door. If it were a crew member, they would know the code to open it.*
Rick: Hurry up and get inside!
Asuna: What about you?!
Rick: Don’t worry! There appears to be a planet nearby! I’ll set the coordinates and follow after you!
Asuna: But—
Rick: Shut up and go!
*Rick shoves her into one of the pods and closes the door. Asuna bangs her fists against the closed door uselessly as Rick finishes inputting the planet’s coordinates into her escape pod and launches it.
Rick: Good luck, Asuna. I’ll be there soon.
*Suddenly, there is a loud explosion as Rick enters the coordinates into his pod. The door opens, and several armed unknown soldiers enter. They were dressed in metallic and crimson armor.
Soldier: We found another passenger! Get him!
Rick: Shit!
*Without any other options, Rick dives into another pod, closes the door, and hits the emergency launch button. He is slammed against the wall as his pod jettisons, knocked unconscious as a result, as his vision begins to fail him he sees Asuna’s pod enter the atmosphere of the nearby planet.*
Rick: …
*When Rick starts to regain consciousness, he finds himself in an unfamiliar room.*
: Where do you think he came from?
: I don’t know, but you might be able to ask him when he wakes up.
*Hearing voices, Rick stirs a bit, but he feels intense pain run through his entire body.*
Rick: Ouch~
: Oh. You’re finally up.
*Rick looks up and sees two girls standing in the doorway with herbs, bandages, and a bucket of water with a cloth draped on the side. The younger girl had short brown hair and appeared to be around the age of 8. The taller girl had long blue hair and seemed like she was closer to his age, though her mature appearance and atmosphere made her seem older.*
: Sakura, why don’t you get him something to eat? I’m sure he’s hungry.
*The younger girl runs out of the room and goes downstairs.*
Rick: Where am I?
: You’re in Aman Village.
*The blue-haired girl sits down beside him on a wooden stool and places the wet cloth on his head.*
: My name is Celina. My sister found you collapsed in the forest beside a monster’s corpse. It must have been a difficult battle with all of the wounds you had. After that, some of the men of the village carried you here and we’ve been taking care of you ever since.
*Rick attempts to sit up, but Celina pushes him back down.*
Celina: Don’t rush it. You just woke up, and you’re injuries haven’t fully healed.
Rick: How long have I been asleep here?
Celina: About 4 days.
Rick: WHAT!?
*Rick suddenly sits up again and looks around. Asuna wasn’t there.*
Celina: I told you to—
Rick: Was there a girl with me? Or rather, is there a girl with long black hair named Asuna anywhere in this village?
*Celina looks at him concerned, but shakes her head.*
Celina: I’m very sorry, but no. This village doesn’t have visitors very often. You’re the first stranger to come here in a long time.
*Rick squeezes his sheets and looks down with a worried and distressed expression.*
Rick: I see. Thank you very much for your kindness, but I have to look for my friend.
Celina: Wait, you haven’t fully recovered yet.
*Rick throws a couple punches and twists his body back and forth.*
Rick: No, I’m fine. I don’t know what you did, but it must have been very effective. I feel fine.
Celina: We just used some symbology to heal you, but your injuries were too serious to be healed by just that. You need to rest.
*The door opens up and Sakura enters with a plate of food*
Sakura: Here you go.
*She hands Rick the plate. It hadn’t occurred to him yet, but he was actually starving. Not eating for 4 days does that to you. He takes the plate and sits back down on the bed, thinking about the situation he was in.*
Rick: Excuse me.
Sakura: Yes, mister?
Rick: Could you show me the place you found me?
Sakura: Umm…
*Sakura looks at Celina, who nods, and then smiles brightly.*
Sakura: Sure, mister.
Celina: Oh, that’s right. We never asked you your name.
Rick: Huh? Oh. My name is Rick Lanstar.
Celina: My, what a unique name.
Rick: Well, I suppose. It’s pretty normal where I’m from.
Celina: I’ve been meaning to ask you about that. What country are you from? Your clothes aren’t like anything I’ve ever seen.
Rick: Well… I’m from a country that’s really far away.
Celina: How far? Farther than Dun Loireag or Fort Ouph?
Rick: Ummm… Probably.
Celina: What’s it called?
Rick: Gaia. It’s a very small island, so we don’t really have any contact with the outside world.
Celina: I see.
Rick: (This must be an underdeveloped planet. Well, before I try to find my way off this planet, I have to find Asuna.)
Celina: Well, it’s dangerous to travel at night, and it’s almost sundown. So why don’t the three of us check out the forest you were found in tomorrow?
Rick: That would be great.
~Asuna~
Asuna: Where am I?
*Asuna sits in her escape pod and a screen appears before her.*
Computer: Planet Aura. 5th planet in the Gamma system. Has been deemed an underdeveloped planet by the Galactic Federation, with a technology level around medieval Earth. Atmosphere similar to Earth. Air breathable.
Asuna: What?! I guess I should send out a distress signal to Earth… Wait. It might attract those people who attacked the transport ship… I’ll wait for Rick to get here.
*Asuna hears voices from outside of the pod. Thanks to her communicator, she can understand them, but it was difficult to hear over the ruckus that they were causing. She takes the phase gun from the ship and opens the hatch.*
Man: It’s awake!
Woman: Quick! Kill it before it attacks!
*Asuna looks at the people around her. They looked like beast people. After seeing her, many of them took a step back; some even ran away.*
Man: Someone came out of it! What is that thing!?
Woman: Who cares!? Run and call the guards!
*The beast people flee. At first Asuna thought it was because of her but she hears a loud roar and turns around.*
Asuna: What?!
*A large behemoth-like creature suddenly attacks the escape pod. The pod must have disturbed its sleep. Asuna, not even having time to think about the situation, turns and bolts in the same direction as the villagers. However, her movements drew the creatures attention and it shifts its attention from the now half-destroyed pod to her.*
Asuna: What is this!? Why are there monsters!?
*As she climbs out of the crater the pod had made and runs towards the trees, she hears a voice.*
: Spirits of fire and destruction, heed my words and will and burn to cinder the enemy in my sight! Salamander!
*A large serpent of fire emerges from the trees and engulfs the behemoth. A cloaked figure leaps out of the brush beside Asuna.*
: Are you hurt?
Asuna: N…No, I’m fine. (What was that? Did he create the fire serpent?)
: Hurry up and get out of here. That spell isn’t going to be enough to stop it.
Asuna: What about you?
*The hood is blown off the figure revealing a young man around the same age as her with brown hair and eyes and a stern serious expression.*
Young man: I’ll hold it off. Don’t worry, I’ll run after you get away.
Asuna: That’s insane! How do you expect to fight such a huge creature!?
Young man: This isn’t the time to talk! Hurry up and run, you fool!
*The behemoth was practically upon them. Without even thinking Asuna pulls the phase gun out of her pocket and fires it at the behemoth. After the brilliant light fades, the Behemoth falls to the ground with a large section of its torso missing.*
Young man: The “Light of Judgment”!?
*She lets out a sigh of relief after seeing the behemoth fall, but the moment she let her guard down, her consciousness wanes and she collapses.*
Young man: Hey! Are you okay?! Hey!
~Rick~
Sakura: Hey, mister, it’s almost time to go.
*Rick squirms a bit and waves his hand.*
Rick: Five more minutes, Asuna.
Sakura: My name’s not Asuna! I’m Sa-ku-ra!
*Rick suddenly feels a hard impact as something hard hits him in the head*
Rick: Ouch! Asuna what the—huh?!
*Rick shouts as he sits up in the bed rubbing his head.*
Sakura: Like I said, I’m not Asuna!
Rick: So, it wasn’t a dream, huh?
Sakura: What are you talking about?
Rick: No, it’s nothing never mind. Where’s Celina anyways?
*Rick looked around, but didn’t see the blue-haired girl anywhere.*
Sakura: Huh? Oh, Sis is downstairs making breakfast. She told me to come wake you up.
Rick: I see. Well, thank you.
Sakura: Hehe~
*Rick gets up and stretches then follows a cheerful Sakura downstairs. When he enters the kitchen, he finds Celina cooking on a something similar to a stove. But what surprised him was Celina herself. She was clearly about the same age as him, but she seemed very reliable and mature.*
Rick: (Maybe it IS true girls grow up faster. I mean, the only other girls I’ve really spent time with were Asuna and her Mom.)
Celina: Excuse me.
*Celina looks over at the two with a charming smile. She was wearing an apron and had a white cloth to hold back her hair.*
Celina: Do you need something? It’s kinda embarrassing being stared at for so long.
Rick: O-Oh, sorry. I didn’t mean to. I was just thinking how different you seemed from Asuna.
*Celina puts the food out on the table and sits down.*
Celina: I see. So what kind of person is this Asuna?
Rick: She’s pushy, immature, useless, and totally uncute… But she’s also the only person who didn’t judge me because of the bad rumors surrounding me. And she’s also very kind.
Celina: You two must be close.
Rick: …I guess we are.
*Rick scratches his nose and blushes a little, embarrassed.*
Celina: Are you two a couple?
*Rick’s expression turns from embarrassment to shock, and he nearly spews his food over her, but instead he forces himself to swallow it.*
Rick: Wha— *cough* —N-No way! *cough* I couldn’t date Asuna.!It just wouldn’t work!
Sakura: Hehe~ Then why are you so embarrassed?
Rick: It’s just… The thought seems kinda absurd to me. I like Asuna, but not in that way.
*The three finish their meal, exchanging idle chat as they eat.*
Celina: Well then, shall we get going?
Rick: Yeah, I need to hurry and find Asuna before something happens to her.
Sakura: Well then, I’ll take you there, Sis, why don’t you stay here in case that Asuna person comes to the village while we’re gone?
Celina: Sure.
*Sakura and Rick wave goodbye to Celina and leave the house. As they walk along the path towards the forest, Rick decides to ask something that had been bothering him.*
Rick: Hey, Sakura? Why don’t you and Celina look alike at all?
Sakura: Oh, that’s because we’re not blood sisters. I don’t even live at that house. My dad’s the mayor of this town, but he’s always busy, so I’m almost always with Sis.
Rick: I see. So where’s Celina’s family?
Sakura: Umm… Her father died a year and a half ago, and her Mom’s disappeared when she was little.
Rick: So she lives alone?
Sakura: Well, I stay over sometimes, but more or less, yeah.
Rick: Must be tough.
*Rick remembers his own experience. His parents were alive, but he almost never saw them. However, Asuna had always been with him, and her family treated him as if he were their son. As he thinks about this, he realizes just how grateful he was for Asuna. Sakura suddenly stops walking.*
Sakura: Here we are.
*In front of the two was a vast forest. Even though it was daytime, the tree branches blocked out most of the light.*
Sakura: Be careful. From here on out, there are animals in these woods, and even a few monsters.
*Rick nods, having already come to the conclusion that there must be monsters on this world. The two enter the forest, staying alert for anything that might be dangerous.*
~Asuna~
*Asuna squirms a bit and sits up rubbing her eyes until she was awake.*
Asuna: Huh? Where am I?
*She looks around in a daze until her eyes fall on the young man whom she had met in the woods earlier. He was sleeping in a chair leaning against the wall. Asuna watches the boy’s breath in and out rhythmically, and for a moment she was reminded of Rick.*
Asuna: Oh, no!
*The boy’s suddenly snaps away and jumps to his feet.*
Boy: What’s wrong!?
Asuna: Oh, sorry. I just remembered I was waiting for someone in that forest. He’ll get worried if he arrives and I’m not there.
*The boy relaxes and lets out a relieved sigh.*
Boy: Don’t worry about it. If he winds up there, he’ll find this village. Besides, it’s a bad idea to wait in the forest, especially since there have been a lot of monsters popping up lately.
Asuna: I see. Umm, my name’s Asuna. Tsukiyomi Asuna. What’s yours?
*The boy looks at her with a slightly surprised expression, but his features warmed up a moment later.*
Boy: I’m Kaga. Templar Kaga.
Asuna: It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Templar.
Kaga: No, just call me Kaga.
Asuna: Oh, okay. So where are we?
Kaga: We’re in Garru Village. It’s a small village on the continent of Dun Loireag.
*Unsure how to respond, Asuna simply nods her head.*
Kaga: But more importantly, are you one of the divine messengers?
Asuna: What? What are you talking about?
Kaga: Well, ancient texts tell us, “when monsters plague the land spurred upon by the lord of Chaos and his three lords of Destruction, Death, and Pain, two avatars of light will descend from the heavens and bring salvation with the Light of Judgment.” So are you one of the avatars of salvation?
Asuna: I’m…sorry, but I’m nothing that special. I can’t tell you the details, but I’m not a divine messenger or a bringer of salvation.
Kaga: Then what was that light that killed the behemoth?
Asuna: (What should I tell him? It’s a violation of the UP3 to tell him about the Phase Gun…)
*Seeing that she was distraught, Kaga lets out a disappointed sigh*
Kaga: I understand. If you can’t talk about it, I won’t ask. So what are you going to do from here?
Asuna: Umm, you mentioned two divine avatars, right? My friend probably arrived in a fashion similar to the way I did. Do you know if there was another person who crashed in this area last night?
Kaga: No, I’m afraid I don’t. But they might have landed on one of the other continents.
Asuna: If that’s the case, I need to go find him.
*Asuna gets up and prepares to leave, but Kaga steps in front of her.*
Kaga: Sit down and rest. You’re not going to get anywhere acting before you know what you’re going to do.
*Asuna suddenly realizes that she was stranded on an underdeveloped planet, without any idea of where to go or how to get there. The only person she knew was Kaga. She sits down and tears begin to swell up in her eyes.*
Asuna: (I just wanted to go on a vacation… Why did it turn out this way?)
Kaga: He…Hey, are you alright?
*Kaga seemed completely at a loss for what to do.*
Kaga: Hey, come on, don’t cry.
*The tears started to spill out of Asuna’s eyes. She had no idea what to do from here, or how she was going to find Rick. What if she couldn’t find him? What if he was dead?*
Asuna: Why-- *hic* --why did this-- *hic* --ha-- *hic* --happen?
*Asuna was now outright crying. Suddenly she feels a hand pat her on the head softly. Surprised, she looks up and sees that Kaga was trying to calm her down.*
Kaga: Listen, I don’t really get what’s going on, but please don’t cry.
Asuna: B…But what should I do?
*Asuna continues to sob and Kaga lets exhales in a sign of defeat.*
Kaga: Okay, how about this? Why don’t you come with me? We might be able to find your friend.
Asuna: Huh?
Kaga: Well, it’s not like I can just abandon you here. Besides, if you start using that “Light of Judgment”, we’re going to have all sorts of problems.
Asuna: Is it really okay? I don’t have any money or anything.
Kaga: Well, how about this? Give me that thing that lets you use the “Light of Judgment”. What’s it called?
Asuna: Umm, it’s called a gun, but I can’t give it to you.
Kaga: Then how about you let me hold onto it for the time we’re traveling together?
*Asuna nods, not really able to think of any other option she had. She takes the gun from her pocket and hands it to him.*
Kaga: I’ll ask the innkeeper to let us stay for another night, and we’ll leave tomorrow. We can get you some different clothes and something to defend yourself with.
*Asuna nods. She was truly grateful for his help, but she couldn’t help but worry about Rick. She hoped he was okay.*
Kaga: Anyways, try to get some rest.
~Rick~
*After almost an hour of walking, Rick and Sakura finally reach the crash site. They had been lucky and hadn’t run into anything dangerous.*
Sakura: This is it.
*Rick looks at the pile of scrap metal that was once the escape pod he had come to this planet on.*
Rick: (It’s a miracle I’m still alive. I doubt there’s anything useful left, and even if there is, I don’t think I can get it out right now.)
*Rick lets out a long and disappointed sigh.*
Sakura: It must have been a strong monster.
Rick: Yeah, something like that. I guess Asuna and I didn’t end up in the same place.
Sakura: Was she traveling with you?
Rick: In a sense. But she might not even be on this continent anymore.
Sakura: So you two got separated.
Rick: Yeah. She’s a pretty good fighter actually, but I don’t like to think that she’s on her own. I hope she’s found a village to stay in -- at least temporarily.
Sakura: Umm, Mister, are you going to be leaving the village?
Rick: I have to find Asuna and find a way home. And…can you do me a favor?
Sakura: What is it?
Rick: Stop calling me “Mister”. It makes me feel like an old man. Call me Rick.
Sakura: Okay, Rick.
*Rick smiles. Sakura really was a good girl. He turns around and starts the trek back to the village, but he hears a low growl.*
Sakura: Look out, Rick!
*A monster resembling a blue coyote jumps out at him, attempting to rip out his throat.*
Rick: Shit!
*Rick raises his arm in front of him and the beast chomps down hard on his arm, drawing blood. However, Rick had been in many fights before this. Ignoring the pain, he grabs one of the beast’s legs and, using his bitten arm, tries to slam the monster into the ground headfirst. The monster instinctively releases him, but he uses its leg to finish the movement. He then drops both knees on the creature’s abdomen breaking several of its ribs.*
Sakura: Are you okay?
Rick: Well… I don’t think I’ll be able to fight well with my left arm for a little while, but other than that, I’m fine. Let’s go before its buddies follow.
*Once again on guard, Rick and Sakura begin to run, but they could hear the rest of the creatures’ pack hot on their trail.*
Rick: Dammit, we’re not gonna get away in time!
*Rick turns around and prepares to face the monsters.*
Sakura: Just hold them off for a bit.
Rick: What are you gonna do?
Sakura: I know some symbology.
*Rick, having no real idea what symbology was, simply turns around and waits for the monsters to arrive. One leaps at him, but he was ready this time and punches it in the side of the face, sending it sprawling into a tree. He kicks the next one in the throat, knocking the wind out of it, but he could see five more on their way.*
Sakura: Spirits of Earth, hear my prayer and strike through those who seek to do me harm! Stalagmite!
*Large rock stalagmites raise out of the ground, knocking the monsters away with strong impacts to the stomach. Sakura and Rick then take off running again.*
Rick: What was that?
Sakura: It was symbology, of course.
Rick: (I guess it’s like magic.) I see. It’s impressive that you can do that at your age.
*Sakura and Rick manage to escape from the forest, and the monsters stop their pursuit.*
Sakura: I’m not that good though. That spell’s supposed to impale the opponent, not knock them away.
Rick: I see. But it’s still very impressive either way.
Sakura: Thanks. You should try to learn some if you get the time.
Rick: Heh. Maybe, but it doesn’t really seem like my kind of thing. I think I’ll stick to punching stuff.
Sakura: Either way, Sis knows healing symbology, so let’s go get her to heal you.
*Rick and Sakura return to the village. On the outskirts of the village, Sakura suddenly grabs the hemp of his shirt.*
Sakura: Umm, Rick, I have a request.
Rick: What is it?
Sakura: When you go out looking for your friend, could you bring Sis with you?
Rick: Huh? Why?
Sakura: She’s always wanted to try and find her Mother and to visit her Father’s resting place, but it’s dangerous for her to go on her own.
*Rick thinks about it*
Rick: So you figure it’s better if she goes with me. I’m okay with it, but I’ll only take her if she wants to go.
*Sakura nods, but doesn’t move.*
Sakura: Actually… One more thing… Can I call you “Bro”?
*Rick is surprised by the request, but nods.*
Rick: Yeah, sure.
*Sakura suddenly grabs his arm and starts walking again.*
Sakura: Then let’s go, Bro.
Rick: A-Alright, I’m coming. Don’t pull my arm.
*Sakura stops outside of the door and releases Rick.*
Sakura: Well, Bro, I need to go home, but be sure to talk to Sis about it, okay?
*Sakura runs off and Rick enters the house.*
Rick: Hey, Celina, you here?
*Celina walks out of the kitchen and greets Rick*
Celina: Did you find anything?
Rick: Well, we found what I was looking for, but it’s not usable so I don’t think it matters.
*As Celina nods, indicating she was listening, but then she notices his arm.*
Celina: Oh! Rick, what happened!? That’s a nasty bite wound!
Rick: We got attacked by some monsters on our way back.
Celina: Come over here. Let me have a look.
*Rick walks over to Celina and she inspects his arm carefully. Then, muttering a spell under her breath, she closing his wound.*
Rick: Wow, that’s amazing!
Celina: It’s nothing special. There are better healers in the capital, but I’m not bad for this small village.
Rick: I see. (Having her come along may actually be a good idea after all). Hey, Celina, I’ll be leaving this village tomorrow… Do you…want to come with me?
*Celina reels back in shock.*
Celina: T-That’s quite a request, Rick. What brought this on?
Rick: I don’t really know this area well. And besides, don’t you want to search for your family?
Celina: …So Sakura told you, huh?
Rick: I’m sorry, but I had to ask.
Celina: No, it’s alright.
*Celina looks out the window with a satisfied smile.*
Celina: It’s true that I want to go find my parents, but packing up and leaving isn’t as easy as it sounds.
Rick: Then how about we travel to the capital together? You can decide what to do after that.
*Celina looks at Rick dumbstruck.*
Celina: W…Well, I suppose I could do that. But don’t you think this is kind of sudden?
Rick: I have to find Asuna, and once I leave, I might not be coming back here. I can wait an extra day, but that’s about it.
Celina: I understand. But would you mind if I gave you my answer tomorrow?
*Celina looks deep in thought and Rick nods. It was only fair. Such a serious decision shouldn’t be made without serious thought.*
Next The World of Stars~~~~~~
Kaga: I haven’t been back to base to restock in a while so let’s go there.
Asuna: Base?
Kaga: Oh that’s right, you wouldn’t know. I’m a member of a guild named Kestral, when I’m not traveling I take on job requests given to the guild.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rick: No, my fists are the only weapon I need (unless I’m up against a phase gun that is).
Sakura: What? That’s boring, the hero is supposed to use a sword.
Rick: I am what I am.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
: Oh and who is this?
Asuna: My name is Asuna.
: Oh my, you look good enough to eat.
Kaga: Ouka you're scaring her.[/size]
