PESSIMIST AND OPTIMIST
I look up
You look down
But nothing you say
Will make me frown
It’s the way
We were designed
Pessimist and Optimist
Until the day we die
You believe
In a great decline
While I think that
We’re starting to fly
Doesn’t matter
Where we go
Just so long
As we don’t come home
Happiness is
My only way
Because if my smiling ends
It won’t stay

Said the Apple to the Pear
Life just isn’t that fair
You have your animal rights
But the vegetable ones aren’t there
Said the Pear
I quite agree
When I think about it
It doesn’t seem fair to me
Just because we can’t talk
Doesn’t mean that we can’t love
At the very least
I’d really like a hug
But that’s the fun
Of this human game
Live off of others
Until nothing remains
