She's gone now
Didn't know what to say
Took her bags
Up and left me
So what
What is there to cry about
She left
But she left me the house
It may not be the biggest house
May have some quirks that need fixing out
There may be a few holes, there may be a mouse
But I'll fix it, that's no doubt
Sure, she may have took the kids
Whiny brats, didn't need them anyway
Sure, it may be quiet now
But at least I have some time to myself, mmhmm
The living room is really empty
The couch left with her to
But I'm really excited
About all the new things I can fit in there
And the parties, they'll be fun
Can stay up late, drinking with my pals
No more complaining that it's way past ten
Little Jimmy needs to sleep for his test, not anymore
Sure she may have took the kids
And the old dog too
He was a lazy mutt, all he did was shit
No extra pair of diapers for me to clean
There may be a few holes up in the ceiling
It may leak from it every now and then
But rain season is a whole month away
Don't need to worry about it until then
I don't need to worry about her finding
That dirty magazine I keep hiding under Suzie's bed
Now, me and it can share more company
I'd probably get more action out of it anyway
Sure she may have took the kids
And the old dog too
And she may have took the toaster
But I don't need any toast right now
At least I still have me the lawnmower
To mow the grass that grows so long
It is fun to cut, helps me lose the gut
And it's fun to know that I am making the weeds life a hell
No more church on Sundays
Thank god for that
Now I can think about having more fun days
Such as calling up Paulie so we can play some golf
Sure she may have took the kids
And the old dog too
And she may have took the toaster
And even that old damned coaster
And she may have taken my love
All I wanted was some love
God why did you do this to me
Why must a lonely man cry alone
Didn't know what to say
Took her bags
Up and left me
So what
What is there to cry about
