Following her brother's death and the AIDA crisis, Pi shortly retired from CC.Corp due to her issues she had working for a company that in a way contributed to her brother's death.
Three years later, a brother was born in the family of Pi. Once again a half brother on the father's side of the family, the mother died during childbirth. Shortly after, the fathe killed himself during a drunken depression. Reiko took it upon herself to raise her brother and give him a place to call home, and when the brother came of age the two became surprisingly close despite the age difference. Reiko would always have to laugh to herself because Kurio would act much like another person that she once knew in The World. It is her bond with Kurio that would help her move past Jun's death completely.
