Name: Slade
Appearance:
Aside from his green and white hair, Slade now has a special mod; Black Angel Wings, hence his name. His armor now also carries gold lining, and he is the ONLY Blade Brandier known to have upgraded to the class "Blade Lord", which allows for the use of Heavy Armor, as well as increased power. His armor is pure black with gold linings along the shoulder plates.
History: Originally, Slade seemed to be just another normal player of "The World R:2" when he logged on as a level one Blade Brandier ready for action. His first battle was pretty rough; he fought a fragment of the infamous Tri-Edge, as well as teaming up with Haseo, now an "Epitath Knight", and Lawliet, an infamous PKer. His aim in this game was fame; he had idolized Balmung when he was a "casual player" in R:1, and had decided to surpass him. Thusly, he began to fight whenever he could, and once got into an almost epic fight with Endrance. The duel ended in a draw, as neither opponent could get the advantage.
As he continued to play, a strange phenomenon known as "AIDA" (Artificially Intelligent Data Anomaly) began to corrupt the game, he found out it also sent people into comas. He was devastated at this, and sought to rid the game of this entity. However, in one attempt to do so, while fighting a strange figure known as Kalonis, Slade was hit with a special attack and his character was killed. Although he was revived with an item, Slade later found that his character was stuck in the game. He was approached by a strange sentient AI program, The Goddess Baina, who gave him a sword and told him of his hidden powers. Slade decided that his predicament wasn't so bad. Real life wasn't as fun as a game.
During a special event, Slade obtained his Blade Lord class and newfound power. Baina also helped to awake his avatar, Pierce. Unlike the Eight Phases, Pierce was more human then anything else, an advanced sentient AI program made by Baina and Harold. Pierce and Slade got along rather well, and continued to assist in destroying AIDA.
Eventually, Ovan uses Corbenik, releasing everyone from their comatose state, including Slade. However, since then Slade has been ever closer to his character, being able to taste, feel, and breath "The World" around him. After the events in R:2, Slade is hired as an Administrative Game Master to help with "The Worlds" flow and order. However, he is as eccentric as ever and often interacts with the players themselves, making him adored by regular users.
Powers: Slade's character has always wielding the power of darkness, and his R:3 counterpart is no exception. He is able to control, manipulate, and summon it at will. it does various things, like a swiss army knife. Also, Slade's wings are indeed usable, making it hard far characters with no range weapons to deal with him while airborne.
