...Seven years ago, the mysteries of The World grew ever more mysterious with the coming of the eight Phases of Morganna.
The shadowed events surrounding the players known as the "DotHackers" was thought to have come to end with the destruction of Corbenik.
Aura was finally "born".
...Three years later, in 2015, a fire at the main CC Corp. building resulted in the loss of a lot of data, and The World was forced to shut down. By splicing in data from what would have been another game, CC Corp was able to rebuild the game system. The next year, "The World R:2" was released.
It is now 2017. Over 12 million copies of The World R:2 were sold. The new look of the worldwide-known MMORPG has attracted twice as many players than before.
All seemed well...
But lately, the BBS is becoming flooded with reports of a Skeith sighting. Additionally, reports are pouring in about a malicious PK that bears a striking resemblance to the legendary DotHacker, Kite. It would seem that The World is once again facing the same threat it faced seven years ago... If not, an even larger threat...
...Is this is the beginning of the end...?
