This one cannot say,
How much it will mean,
If you were just to stay,
With me, in a place serene.
Calming silence will fill the air,
As we watch the setting sky,
And neither would give a care,
Falling into the arms of I.
The day will turn into the night,
The evening sets all around,
While the stars are ever so bright,
And my heart begins to pound.
Turning our faces to the other,
We exchange a small smile,
Giving a kiss, and then another,
Our minds running many a mile.
Reluctantly, we will soon part,
Only to see the other the next day,
A feeling soars in each heart,
As those three words I say.
